How Comic Books Got Censored

Comic books were a relatively new medium for kids and adults to read. They had such creative stories and art, never really seen before. But as time went on, artists and writers started pushing them to become more and more violent, ranchy, and downright disturbing. Thats where Dr Fredrick Wertham came in, he thought comics were rotting the kids minds. Making them do horrible things, like steal, fights, and ever murder. He tried to get the government to outright ban comic books all together. Very extreme, but was he right? watch the video and find out.
